It's been a few years since I attended a ride at Baldersdale, and although the name was familiar, we go to so many rides each year slowly they can all start to merge into one.  However, when I reached this section of Blackton reservoir then I realised that I had been here before.
 

   This time though I was more organised and was able to get much further up the sides of both reservoirs, Hury & Blackton to capture the riders as they went out and then as they returned back to the venue.
 

   It was a glorious day this morning as the sun was out clearing the early low lying cloud seen on the drive to the venue from the A66.  Unusual I'm told for this ride as the riders are normally subjected to a battering of wind and rain.  But today all they had to contend with was flies, tricksy bridges (for some) and a really steep hill back to the venue.
 

   I did try to capture riders on video with my phone, but they were too far away for clarity and all I could see were flies in front of the lens so gave that up as a bad job.
 

   After a good spell by both Reservoirs I was surprised that there were only a few riders that had done the shorter route who I missed for a second shot, so really pleased that you all persevered and enjoyed the weather and scenery for as long as you did.
 

  On the walk back I was greeted by the sight of a cow sauntering down the middle of the road holding up the traffic with not a care in the world.
