A New Marske morning

Sunrise at the coast

This weekend was a rare treat as there was nothing planned, so I had some time for personal projects. At a recent ride event I was photographing at, I was able to scout out locations and came across this venue above New Marske woods looking down to the coast and the industrial setting of Wilton and thought it would be good to call back with my landscape kit.
So, with the long weekend a head to catch up on some rest I woke Harley (our Staffie) at 4:30am, had some breakfast and drove the 50 minutes to get there. I was hoping for better light but it was just good to be out and photographing for myself for a change. I'm a bit out of practise on the landscapes as I have been so busy with equestrian events it's been difficult to find time. |

On the way back to the car park we took a short cut through the woods with the help of google maps as I'd never been here before, and came across various wood carvings. Then headed off home to upload the photos and a quick coffee before heading back out to wake up Falcon and make his bed ready for tonight. That's the trouble with early starts, it means you've got more time to do chores.
